Foster Parent Highlight Carrie and Caleb

That’s the heart behind foster parents Carrie & Caleb, who’ve been fostering for the past year and a half.

“We wish more people knew how accommodating fostering can be. There’s such a HUGE under awareness of the thousands of kids in the system who have no safe place to go.”

“There are so many different child scenarios for anyone with an open heart and home. Some kids just need a loving place to heal while their parents work on turning their lives around—that’s the goal. But there are also many who could become adoptive placements. People don’t realize that.”

“At one point, we only did short-term respite care. You can be selective based on what’s best for your family—and still help.”

This year, on National Foster Care Month, we’re honored to highlight Carrie & Caleb for their compassion, flexibility, and unwavering belief that every child deserves a safe space to land.
