🎉 ADOPTION DAY CELEBRATION! 🎉After almost three years in foster care, Diana was adopted. ❤️But the beautiful part of her story is that, in so many ways, she had already been home from the very beginning.Diana has been with Sara and Chelsea since she was a year old. She has grown up alongside her brother, Davin, who is the same age. In fact, people sometimes assume they’re twins. Like any siblings, they have their moments, but they’re building the kind of bond that only grows stronger with time.Diana loves music, animals, Frog and Toad, and dance class. She especially loves showing off her dance moves, which feels fitting for a little girl who has grown up surrounded by people cheering her on.Last year, Diana and her family joined our Columbus team to pass out candy at the Hilliard Halloween Haunt. This year, they’re celebrating something even sweeter: becoming a forever family❤️Stories like Diana’s remind us why foster parents matter so much.Foster care asks families to say yes when the future is uncertain. To be steady when things are changing. To open their homes, their routines, and their hearts to a child who may need something different than they expected. And sometimes, that temporary yes becomes something much bigger. Sometimes, a child finds exactly what they need. And sometimes, a family discovers they had room in their hearts all along.Diana’s story started with a family willing to say yes. Today, that yes is forever. Congratulations to Diana, Sara, Chelsea, and Davin. We are so grateful we got to be part of your story. ❤️If you’ve ever wondered whether fostering could be part of your family’s story, maybe Diana is your reminder to take that first step. You don’t have to know exactly what the future will look like. You just have to be willing to say yes.Click our link to learn more about becoming a foster parent: mailchi.mp/c82df4312c4c/learn-more#fostercare #adoption #adoptionstory #family #cadencecares #ohioadoption ...
