Behavior Support
For children and adolescents struggling with emotional problems and challenging behaviors, Cadence Care Network offers mental health case management services by trained mental health specialists. These services (also called Therapeutic Behavioral Support or Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment) can occur in home, in school, and in the community to remove barriers that might occur due to poor behaviors and ensure that individuals develop the skills and receive the appropriate care and resources to maintain their emotional well-being.
Behavior Support includes:
A focus on long-term change
that families can maintain following treatment.
Treatment
provided in the child’s home, school and community settings.
Coordination
of the client’s Individual Service Plan (ISP).
Assistance
in developing personal independence and daily living skills.
Crisis management
Behavioral health interventions
to help the client eliminate barriers to education and employment.
Reducing the risk of psychiatric hospitalization
Behavior Support Services focus on improving the individuals ability to succeed in his/her school and community, identify and access needed services, and improve behaviors with family and friends.

Families meet with one of our licensed therapists for an initial evaluation of behavioral health concerns. Assessments typically last 60 to 90 minutes.
