Cadence Care Network Expands into Central Ohio
with Acquisition of Youth Advocate Services
Now Serving Families in Columbus and Franklin County
We’re proud to announce that Cadence Care Network is growing! We've officially expanded into Central Ohio through the acquisition of Youth Advocate Services (YAS)—a respected Columbus-based nonprofit with over 46 years of experience serving children and families. This exciting step forward allows us to build on YAS’s legacy while bringing our innovative, community-based behavioral health and foster care services to even more youth and families.
What This Means for Kids and Families
The merger between Cadence Care and YAS strengthens our shared mission: helping children and families live their best possible lives.
By combining resources, staff, and expertise, we're providing...
Expanded Mental Health Services
More access to personalized, community-based behavioral health care.
Stronger Foster Care Support
More foster families, better training, and increased adoption resources.
Enhanced Early Intervention
Helping kids sooner with expanded early support programs.
Growth for Staff & Services
New resources and opportunities for innovation and impact.
With the addition of the YAS team and its well-established presence in Franklin County, we’re ready to do even more.
Youth Advocate Services has touched the lives of more than 52,000 children and families throughout its history and remains one of Franklin County Children Services’ top ten most-purchased service providers. As they join Cadence Care, their commitment to compassionate, quality care remains unchanged.
“This partnership opens the door to everything we’ve dreamed of—more services, more resources, and more possibilities for families and staff,” said YAS CEO, Sarah Steuer.
With this expansion, Cadence Care Network now serves communities from Niles to Columbus, including locations in Boardman, Ashtabula, and Toledo. Our growing team of over 300 professionals is more dedicated than ever to meeting the behavioral health and child welfare needs of Ohio families.
We’re honored to continue this journey—and we look forward to all the lives we’ll touch together.
