Families meet with one of our licensed therapists for an initial evaluation of behavioral health concerns. Assessments typically last 60 to 90 minutes.

Some of the most valuable conversations happen when the people supporting Ohio’s children and families get in the same room.We’re proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the Public Children Services Association of Ohio Annual Conference and to spend these few days connecting with children services professionals from counties across Ohio. It’s an opportunity to listen to what communities are navigating, strengthen relationships, and make sure professionals know what resources and support are available when a child or family needs more.And yesterday brought a pretty special full-circle moment. We met a fellow conference attendee who shared that, many years ago when Cadence was Homes For Kids, he was a youth in one of our foster homes. He was adopted by his foster parents at 13 and today works professionally in the foster care field himself.It was an unexpected reminder of just how far the connections made through this work can reach.If you’re at PCSAO this week, stop by our table.
