Multisystemic Therapy
Multisystemic Therapy is an evidenced-based intensive family and community-based treatment program targeting youth with severe psychosocial and behavioral problems. These individuals are usually chronic offenders between 12 to 17 years old, deeply involved with delinquent peers, experiencing problems at school or with truancy, and engaging in substance abuse.
This program places a comprehensive focus on the individual’s life while integrating:
Mental Health Assessment
Crisis Response
Behavioral Health Treatment
Family Counseling
Parent Empowerment
Social Services
The goal of this program is to prevent out-of-home placement and help teens to be engaged in school and their community to reduce future court involvement
